Sihanouk Ville Suggested Itinerary


Day 1: Arrival and Beach Exploration

Morning: Arrive in Sihanoukville (possibly by bus or plane from Phnom Penh). 

Afternoon: Check into your accommodation and head to Sokha Beach for relaxation and swimming. 

Evening: Enjoy dinner at a beachfront restaurant on Ochheuteal Beach and experience the lively atmosphere. 

Day 2: Island Escape to Koh Rong

Full Day: Take a ferry to Koh Rong. 

Activities: Explore beaches like Long Beach or Sok San Beach, go snorkeling or diving, or relax in a hammock. 

Evening: Enjoy dinner and drinks at one of the beachside bars on Koh Rong before taking the last ferry back to Sihanoukville. 

Day 3: Nature and Culture

Morning: Visit Ream National Park for mangrove forests, boat trips, and wildlife spotting. 

Afternoon: Explore Kbal Chhay Waterfalls, a popular spot for locals and tourists. 

Evening: Visit Wat Leu temple for a taste of local religious culture.

If you have more time, consider spending a day or two on Koh Rong Samloem, known for its beautiful beaches and relaxed atmosphere. 

Kampot:

If you're interested in exploring more of Cambodia, consider a day trip or overnight stay in Kampot, a charming town with a riverfront and nearby pepper plantations. 

Scuba Diving/Snorkeling:

Sihanoukville and the surrounding islands offer great opportunities for scuba diving and snorkeling, with vibrant coral reefs and diverse marine life. 

Golden Lions Roundabout:

Don't miss the iconic Golden Lions Roundabout, a popular photo spot and symbol of the city.
